God’s Standard For Your Safety.
The Lord loves you! Whether on the job or offsite, you’re never out of His sight.
The Bible tells us about His invitation and great love for man whereby we can know that we are eternally safe, according to His standard.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn
of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
God has provided complete assurance for those who trust in Him. The Lord has spared no expense when it comes to your everlasting safety!
REALIZE WE DO NOT MEET HIS STANDARD:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
According to the Word of God, we have all sinned, and have come short of His perfect standard of living.
RECOGNIZE THERE IS A PENALTY:
“For the wages of sin is death …” (Romans 6:23)
Not living up to His standard has its consequences. The penalty for our sins is death and hell.
KNOW THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS MET THE STANDARD:
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
As a result of God’s love for man He provided the only way for us to be in good standing with Him. Jesus Christ is the only one who meets the Father’s standard.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
TRUST JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOUR:
“… But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
There is nothing we can do to earn our eternal life: whether by being good, going to a couple of church services, or donating to a worthy cause. He alone provided us with this everlasting guarantee.
The gift of eternal life was purchased by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross, and rose again the third day. This offer is freely given to those who call upon Him in faith.
“FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED.” (Romans 10:13)
If you are still in danger of hell, let God provide the safety and assurance that you need to meet His standard. Realize your condition. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ now!
Pray sincerely something along these lines: (It is not mere words that save, but putting your faith and trust in Jesus Christ).
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I’m a sinner, worthy of hell. I believe you died on the cross, and rose again the third day, paying the full price for my sins. I’m asking right now for your forgiveness, and that you save me Lord Jesus Christ. In your Holy name I pray. Amen.
